After a long night of guessing and taking down record of wining possibilities in the casino, wining was on our side. Mike and Dan got win big money. Back to the room we freshen up ourselves, then pack to leave Genting for the beach. Checked out …. We went to purchase ticket to KL. A rush morning, we had muffin for breakfast.
Time to board up the bus but the bus door was closed but there were passenger inside. We waited for the driver then we boarded. We discovered that although our ticket do indicate seat number but was taken by someone. I then talked to the driver, the driver answer me as very thing was due to our lateness . Realizing those already in the bus might not be the one who had purchase the actual timing errrr angry angry …. I keep winding to the driver that this should not be happening … But he answered as this was normal… I stop winding as let him had a peace drive down the hill ….. we had to stand all the way to KL haiz … At the mid hill near Awana resort there were a family boarding the bus too…. Lesson learned …
Why Cherating Beach? I never heard of this beach till there this advertisement promotion the location … Beach I never heard … interesting hmmm how to go there I do not have any idea … Just take the risk.
At KL- Titiwangsa, we found out that we can purchase and board the bus tickets to Kuantan so we decided to board from there …. Lesson learned 2hr ago, four of them wait there till the bus arrival while I went to shop for water and bits ….
About 5 hours journey, the bus took us to Cherating Beach. We had to walk about 20 min from the main road into a small village. I saw the beach the distance shore to the water was about 400m away. We checked in to “cottage” where it able to put 5 of us into the room. Leave our thing in the room, change into our beach wear. We headed to the beach.
The moment I stepped onto the beach, I forgotten about the quietness for the village, forgotten about the bad experience occurred early morning. I felt pack of freedom calling for me as the wind blow pass by me … Walking to the water, Dan found shell on the way and we found more living things as we walk on.
Took off my short and singlet, I hopped in the clean clear salty water. The waves push me around. The water was shallow. Unfamiliar water environment, I did not go further. Looking from the water to the mainland, I saw tall alarm around then I feel safe. Maybe, I am concern after Tsunami happened years ago.
We not only enjoy the water but we also had lesson of nature with the living things that we found . We dug and find for new thingy ….

yeah .... yes ... i Back to the room, after the salty and sand soak over our body….. time to take a bath but realize that the bath room was flood due to the cloak pipe… in my trunk only … oops forgotten lah… I went to their reception to request change the room …. 2nd room was unacceptable …. Dirty mattress and room …. I went to ask for a change again. 2 room key we decided to stay at the 3rd … however we did not return the 2nd room’s key. ….. we guys bath in the second room … there was hot water.
Before we headed for our 1st Dinner for the trip, we went to the 1 and only tour agency to check out the transportation back to Kuantan Bus Terminal. Got some information and check , we walk to the again 1 and only one Chinese Restaurant…. Order the food that we craved for …. Sumptuous dinner ….. From Tom Yam to seafood to meaty meaty ….
